Custom Design FAQ

How do I create a custom design item for screen printing or embroidery?

All you need to do to create a custom design item is submit a drawing of your design, including the color, and size specifications to us by either email or come into our shop. One of our design specialists will contact you within 5 business days to discuss your design, and then we'll have one of our graphic artists render a comp of your design for your approval. (Note: All draft iterations of designs are the property of Finishline Graphics. Final approved custom designs are the property of the submitting customer. We recommend you copyright your designs for your future protection.)

Why won't you create my item with a custom design I submitted?

We reserve the right to decline any custom design that we deem to be a copyright infringement, offensive, sexually explicit, pornography, exploitive, or otherwise inappropriate. But we do have a sense of humor.

What articles of clothing and accessories can I put my design on?

Please look through our catalog for garments and gear. We can screen print / embroider on almost anything. From t-shirts, to hoodies, to hats / beanies, totes, backpacks and more. See our catalog for a full list of customizable items.

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed several different ways:

How and when do I pay for my order?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Cash. We will also accept checks (personal or business), but it will delay you order because we will wait until the check clears the bank before the order is processed. You pay for your order when you place your order.

Can I see what my design will look like before it is screen printed or embroidered?

Yes, you may. We can email you the art for the screen printing orders or email you a picture of a sew-out of your design for embroidery. For the most part, we do not print or embroider an order until, you the customer has signed off approving the art layout, spelling, design, etc.

What if I want to keep my design private?

If you want to keep your custom designs private, then there's nothing more to do. We keep all of our customers' designs private, and only the submitting customer may purchase an item with that design, unless the customer requests that the design be offered for others. So, don't worry, you can be as unique as you want to be! (Note: We are not responsible for verifying the authenticity of your design and do not guarantee that designs submitted by others or those created by Finishline Graphics designers will not resemble your design.)

Can I order just one shirt or hat, etc., custom made?

No - We do not screen print just one item. We deal in large quantities only. The more you purchase , the more you save. Pricing varies with each design and garment. (12 piece min. for screen printing)
